This is my best picture of 'Noodle' the Sperm Whale in the deep waters off of the east coast of the south island near Kaikoura. I've done whalewatching in 3 countries now and have seen 3 types of whale..Fins (Boston USA), Greys (Tofino Canada)and now Sperm. If you ever get the chance then hold your stomach, hope for sea legs and go because there is nothing like it.
